The Buccaneers Athletic Club is a youth sports non profit organization located in Pasadena, Maryland. The first teams were organized in 1959 when the Club fielded an 11/12 year old basketball and football team.
Now, membership is over 1,100 boys and girls participating in football, lacrosse, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading and field hockey each year. The organization hosts a majority of its events at Sunset Elementary School, where the Buccanners have their own scoreboard, announcers booth, blockhouse, and lights. The colors or the organization are blue, white and black. The organization competes against teams from other areas within Anne Arundel County and also throughout the state the of Maryland.
