Always thought this logo looked so camp. Talk about a waste of money, not even the staff liked this load of junk. Good to see the back of it (almost)! Just got to change the phone boxes now! They should have revived the '80's 'T' logo, many reconise that one, and found it universal!
- I never liked the T logo, it didn't look British enough. Same for the current one, it's too generic. This version's my favourite. boffy_b 14:11, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Have to say I found the Pracing Piper (or Prancing Pratt as the staff called it) a bit to European for my liking. I also found it pretentious as it was during the period where image was becoming 'softer' or 'wispy floaty' during the 1990's. Though I thought the logo was later than 1991, I first saw it around 1993ish, on a telephone box and found it the colours dull compared to the yellow, even in 1991 I'm sure the 'T' logo was still around. I also must disagree, I found the 'T' (designed by Banks and Miles) logo was more British, It had a kind of Post Office look about it (not least the Post Ofiice look was designed by the same designers). I now wonder if British Telecom have started to change the phonebox logos yet.
