- Hey, I attend IAU (www.iau.edu.lc). I would suggest go to SMU. Also go to www.valuemd.com as it is a valuable resource. Sure, you can have my user page - its free anyways! DrGladwin 01:30, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

- Yes, I'm very satisfied and so are 3 of my friends. We'll get NY approval in 2008. Professors here use shelf-exams in basic sciences - only the top caribbean schools do that. Plus, my 5th semester will be held at Jackson Park Hospital, Chicago. The only thing is IAU is a very new school and doesn't have any grads yet. Nevertheless, students have passed the Step 1 and presently are doing rotations. DrGladwin 06:21, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:Drjcoby has been blocked
Can I blame the time change? :) I used to be on UTC-4, but we fell back to UTC-5 tonight, so the math isn't as easy. I looked at the time stamps again. Not only had he received a block-may-follow warning, but he had asked his question at the help desk and had it answered before his last deletion. Accordingly, you're right: he was properly warned, and the appropriate step to prevent further damage is to block. (Which I probably gave a rather mild one, all things considered, but I'd rather get him on board with discussing the issue, if possible, than push him completely away from Wikipedia.) —C.Fred (talk) 03:19, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Heh, totally understood. Thank you for your quick response. Bstone 17:41, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I didn't notice at first that Jfdietrich (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) was a sockpuppet of Drjcoby (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log). Now that I checked it out further, he's using a sockpuppet to evade a block, which is clearly not permitted. I've dropped the blockhammer on the sockpuppet account. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 21:15, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Right. Sockpuppetry to evade a block is a disruptive edit, i.e. vandalism. If you're reverting a change made by such an editor, make sure to note that you're reverting an edit made in evasion of a block--that way, it's clear to the admins why an exemption from 3RR applies. At this point, though, the article is protected, which should prevent any new editors from vandalizing the article--but also limits how much they can contribute to the article directly. Still, benefits outweigh costs right now. —C.Fred (talk) 22:43, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:Ross University School of Medicine
Hi, an RFC request you added to Talk:Ross University School of Medicine was incorrectly formatted, and wasn't processed by the RFC bot. Please see RFC Instructions for information on selecting and filling out RFCxxx templates. The example and notes below may also be of use.
Example use of RFCxxx template
This example shows how a partially completed RFCxxx template might appear in an edit box before the section and reason parameters have been completed (xxx = any of bio, econ, hist, lang, sci, art, pol, reli, soc, style, policy).
{{ RFCxxx | section = !! reason = !! time = ~~~~~ }}
This example shows how a completed RFCxxx template and associated section heading might appear in a discussion page edit box before saving.
== RFC: Is photo in "history" section relevant to article? ==
{{ RFCxxx | section = RFC: Is photo in "history" section relevant to article? !! reason = Is the photograph in the "History" section relevant to the article? !! time = ~~~~~ }}
Is the photograph in the "History" section relevant to the article?
Things to note:
- RFCxxx templates go on discussion pages, not in articles.
- Only one section containing RFCxxx templates should exist in a discussion page, and it may only contain one of each type of RFCxxx template, otherwise RFC bot will get confused.
- All parameters in the template must be completed (section, reason, and time).
- section is the section header of the discussion document section that the RFCxxx template is inserted in, RFC bot uses this information to insert a link in the RFCxxx list that points to the discussion.
- reason is a neutral statement of the reason than an RfC is requested for. RFC bot copies it to the RFCxxx list. It should be repeated after the template.
- time is a standard timestamp as provided by using 5 tilde characters ~~~~~.
- Do Not use any exclamation mark ( ! ) characters in your reason or section, they will confuse RFC bot.
I hope this helps. DMcMPO11AAUK/Talk/Contribs 23:33, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Post removed
We edit conflicted while I was in the midst of removing a post from WP:AN by a banned user. I removed your post too because it wouldn't make sense without the ones above it. Requests for checkuser are not performed to clear people because the information cannot be used for that purpose. It can connect two users, but cannot definitively say that two users are different. I hope this helps. - Jehochman Talk 22:33, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
