BSport

BSport is a sports talk radio station in New Zealand that was launched on Monday 29 October 2007, replacing Radio Pacific. During racing hours Radio Trackside operates a programme providing coverage of horse racing, while outside this time BSport operates a sports/talk programme.

Weekdays:

  • 6am - 10am: Breakfast with Ian Smith (former Black Caps wicket keeper), Dean Lonergan (former Kiwi League international and sports promoter), Nathan Rarere
  • 10am - 12pm: "The Bench" Morning Show with Kevin Sinnott (TV3 sports journalist), Simon Doull (former Black Cap), James McOnie
  • 12pm - 12am: Radio Trackside
  • 12am - 6am: Radio Live overnight programme.

Saturday:

  • 5am - 8am: On the Road with Allan Dick
  • 8am - 12am: Radio Trackside
  • 1am - 5am: Radio Live overnight programme.

Sunday:

  • 5am - 8am: The Early Bird Show with Merv Smith
  • 8am - 12pm: BSport with Giles on Sunday
  • 12pm - 12am: Radio Live overnight programme.

BSport launched on frequencies previously used by Radio Pacific. This is with the exception of Southland where The Breeze launched on the 91.6FM frequency on the same day BSport launched, as a result BSport launched on 1224AM which was the original frequency for Foveaux FM.
