[edit] Translations
Can the sections of this template be translated to English names. I can see that currently this template applies to a lot of German based lines, but I would like to start implementing into Australian lines and going back to read the translation everytime is a hassle. It is after all English Wiki. If we can do it now it will nip in the bud before this is implemented too widely. Nomadtales 22:16, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have started a Sandbox where the conversion to English can take place. I also propose that the name be changed to something like Template:BS-Datum or Template:BS-Info. Nomadtales 00:23, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

- Your request for comments/help, etc - I can see how the German template has its uses. There are some individually coded ones on several New Zealand lines that i look at but over here in the UK, I'm not sure there is (yet) a need for such a template. thats not to say don't make one by all means. To me, all lines are of one gauge, the electrification has three options, route length is hard to find out as we have yet to really resolve the route vs services debate, line speed varies and I've never seen data on inclines/declines, etc. Good luck though. - True the only things I really want to show are an image, the route length and the guage, as in Australia there are 3 different guages. Seeing as you UK guys are not bothered I will go ahead and create a new infobox with these elments and make sure it is in English. Cheers Nomadtales 04:57, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
