Disagree with merger. This article (currently unfinished) is about the company Bryant and May and how it evolved. There are separate articles about the Bryant and May building in Bow and another one about the Bryant and May building in Melbourne. They should stay separate.

There is any empty article about the Match girls strike, which is linked to Bryant and May but it wider and it should stay separate.Pyrotec 20:19, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Bryant and May is also the name of a pair of fictional detectives created by the author Christopher Fowler. Is is appropriate to put a link to the article on Christopher Fowler at the top of the page? Something like: "This article is about the company/brand of matches. For the fictional characters created by Christopher Fowler, see ..."? — Paul G 13:37, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

I would suggest that all that is needed is something at the top of the article along the lines

See also: Christopher Fowler. It is obvious what the Bryant and May article about and inclusion of a section on a pair of fictional detectives of the same name does not contribute to the article. Incidentally the Christopher Fowler article fails to elaborate on what it means by Bryant and May mysteries - even that they are a pair of detectives. Pyrotec 13:46, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

"Products " "Vitafruit" Confectionery manufactured by the Bryant & May group in 1988. There were three varieties including tropical fruit flavour (Vitafruit), mint (Vitamint) and a throat soother (Vitasooth). When Swedish Match acquired Bryant & May the confectionery arm of the business was sold and eventually the new owners stopped production of Vitafruit. (Hi guys, think this might do for a 'reference'? Please clean up or delete as you feel fit.)
