Bryncethin

Bryncethin is a small village located just north of the M4, Junction 36. Situated approximately 3 miles north of Bridgend,in Mid-Glamorgan,South Wales, UK. It is squashed up against the surrounding villages of Sarn, Brynmenyn, Aberkenfig, Abergarw, Tondu and Ynysawdre.

There is a large primary school called Bryncethin Primary School and the local comprehensive school is just down the road.

Bryncethin has a bright future as it is a rapidly expanding village. This isn't all good though as in the case with the surrounding villages they are losing their identities due to the rapid expansion of Bridgend — they are becoming just suburbs of the large town[citation needed].
