Bryan Lewis Saunders

Bryan Lewis Saunders (b.1969, in Washington, D.C.) is a multi-media artist, videographer, poet, and performance artist from Tennessee. Widely known for his angry, violent, Spoken word rants. In February 2006 he started his own label, Stand-Up Tragedy Records and unleashed 3 audio volumes of his Inner Demons. The experimental sound artist John Duncan remixed his most blasphemous rant, "Subject In Question", and in 2007 he was sampled by the hip hop artist Sage Francis and appeared on the LP, Human the Death Dance. He performs predominantly in contemporary art museums, media arts schools, and at music festivals in Western Europe. He is also a member of Erratum, the Paris based Art/Noise/Poetry label. In 2008 he appeared in the book, "From Yodeling to Quantum Physics" courtesy of the Palais de Tokyo, and released his first book titled, "Sex, Drugs and Institutions" which he also illustrated.
