Bryan Horrigan

Bryan Horrigan (born c1970, Brisbane) is an Australian researcher, consultant, commentator and professional speaker on specialised legal, business, and governmental topics. He was educated at St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace (Brisbane) and the University of Queensland (BA, LLB), where he was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship. He was subsequently awarded a D Phil in Law from Oxford University. He is currently the Associate Dean (Research) and Professor at Macquarie University’s Division of Law.

Horrigan worked as a Senior Associate with law firm Allens Arthur Robinson (AAR) from 1991 until 1994. In 1994, he became an Associate Professor at QUT and a consultant to AAR. In July 2000, he became a Professor in the School of Law at the University of Canberra, as well as the Director of the National Centre for Corporate Law and Policy Research and Deputy Director of the National Institute for Governance.
In 2005, Horrigan joined Macquarie University Division of Law as its Associate Dean for Research. He is Co-Director of the cross-disciplinary Centre for Comparative Law, History, and Governance, and currently holds publicly funded research grants on corporate governance in the public sector as well as internationalisation of Australian law and adjudication. He has been a Visiting Academic at the Wharton Business School in Philadelphia.

His upcoming book for an international publisher is entitled Corporate Social Responsibility in Action.
