[edit] Poetman not last Brunnen-G
Removed "Poetman said that he had been the last person left behind when the Brunnen-G left the planet, so it is possible he was the last living Brunnen-G." Template:Spoiler It is true that the storyline indicates the Brunnen-G left Brunnis 1 thousands of years before the destruction of Brunnis 2. At the time of the Lexx's visit, Poetman was merely an hologram. When Prince restored Kai's life in the last episode of the fourth season then Kai sealed the question that Kai was the last "living" Brunnen-G. --Mark @ DailyNetworks talk 13:16, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
"Poetman said that he had been the last person left behind when the Brunnen-G left the planet, so it is possible he was the last living Brunnen-G."
I saw Brigadoom recently, and I think it was told that the Brunnen-G left Brunnis 1 (and the Dark Zone) some 6,000 years before the destruction of Brunnis 2. But whatever the timespan, in Super Nova Kai said that Brunnis 1 – where they meet Poet Man's hologram – wasn't his home, but the home of his ancestors, making it quite certain that Poet Man was dead long before Brunnis 2 was destroyed – which means that Kai was indeed the last of the Brunnen-G in every sense. And if I did remember correctly, and he had indeed been dead for 8,000 years when the Lexx crew encountered his hologram, that would explain why...
"Interestingly, Poetman's fashion sense was nothing like other Brunnen-G we've seen: he wore clothing resembling a tuxedo, had facial hair, and no beehive hairdo."

Sorry, I saw it again, and that 6,000 years was just a random number in the lyrics. But it was said that the shield around Brunnis 2 stood for "thousands of years" --Anshelm '77 18:08, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Brunnen-G fight song
I keep thinking there should be an entry about the Brunnen-G fight song; if there is one, perhaps someone could post the link here, and if there isn't one, I'd like to write something about it, but I don't know whether it should have its own article, or perhaps be included here or in the Brunnis article.
If I don't get around to starting such an article or section and someone else would like to, I think it should include the lyrics, translation, a sound file, and mention that the song was sung in battles that were worth fighting even though the Brunnen-G were likely to be defeated (perhaps quoting Kai's explanation from the show). - I wish I could remember the episode reference, but I do recall that the Brunnen G are specifically designated as humans. Humans who achieved physical immortality, but humans none-the-less. --Zhaleskra

- Well, humans from another planet could still qualify as aliens; in another context, humans from other countries are called aliens. B7T 02:29, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
