[edit] Serial killer

As the main author of this article, I'm constantly uncomfortable with the edits which keep describing Lee as a "serial killer". Admittedly I don't know how he should be categorised, but the majority of his fires were random and he would have got his thrills just as much had they been victimless. Serial killers, to me, premeditate their plan to take life. Bentley Banana 11:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

That whole section (Prolific - but poor publicity) seems highly out of place. I can understand noting the correlation to the other trial going on at the time (Mentioned earlier), but that whole section seems to border on original research, is unsourced, and doesn't seem to add much to the article. I'll see if I can remove it while keeping the facts contained within... 68.39.174.238 12:52, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Correction, it's not all bad, but I'm having a hard time removing anything... I'll leave it be... 68.39.174.238 12:53, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bi/Trans?

According to the categories, he's LGBT, however I can't find anything in the article that mentions it. Anyone else know about this? Just checking it's not sneaky vandalism. 68.39.174.238 12:55, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Six months after the inquiry began, he confessed in great detail about pouring paraffin through the letterbox and setting it on fire as a revenge mission against Charles Hastie, with whom he had been in a homosexual relationship. Lee said the 15-year-old had threatened to go to the police (as he was a minor) unless Lee gave him money. Bentley Banana 13:00, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Crime Library link

I've added it to the bottom of the page, although the similarities in the two articles are down to the knowledge of the wiki writer, who is from Lee's home city and followed the case as it happened. Just in case anyone assumes there's been any plagiarism going on... Bentley Banana 11:34, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
