[edit] Bruce's Airport

First of all, great job on adding airport articles. But is this one really notable? Also, I think it contains wrong information, e.g., near Milwaukie. Bearian (talk) 17:05, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Good day Bearian, I pulled all of my data from the FAA and I've got to admit that I was curious of the location of this one too. Looking at Google Earth it appears the coordinates are plotting out slightly to the west of its actual location. If you notice on GE the strip is located there amongst a very busy neighborhood. It's the grass strip that runs north & south - see the info box. In regards to the "notability" of this airfield, private use airports account for a vast majority of landing facilities in the United States. In Oregon, there are 358 Private Use Airports, and only 98 Public Use Airports [1] and there by out weighing them nearly 4 to 1. I am starting articles on all airports in Oregon and thereby it doesn't seem fair to leave this little guy out. The FAA has declared this a legal landing field and thereby deserves its own notoriety. Let me know if I can provide any more info for you. Happy Editing... --Trashbag (talk) 17:23, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
