The Brush-tailed Rat (Isothrix sinnamariensis) is a species of rodent in the Echimyidae family. It is found in French Guiana, Guyana, and possibly Suriname. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
