Bruno Alexandre Marques Pereirinha (born March 2, 1988 in Rio de Mouro, Portugal), is a Portuguese football player who plays as a right-sided midfielder for Sporting Clube de Portugal.
Pereirinha, though not overly skilful, particularly aggressive or possessor of a thunderous shot and quite the opposite of physically intimidating, plays simple and tactical, with speed of thought, playing a subtle but vital role in accentuating the cohesion of his team’s movements.
He made his professional debuts for Sporting in 2006-07, having started that same season on loan at second division's Clube Desportivo dos Olivais e Moscavide, as Miguel Veloso before him.
On March 13, 2008, in the UEFA Cup round of 16, second leg home match against Bolton Wanderers, Pereirinha scored an 85th minute goal that gave Sporting a 1-0 victory and a spot in the quarter finals. He had also scored in the previous round against FC Basel.
In 2007, Pereirinha broke into Portugal's under-21 football squad, also representing the nation in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, held in Canada.
