Bruno Marie-Rose (born 20 May 1965 in Bordeaux) is a retired French sprinter who specialized in the 100 and 200 metres.
At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, he won a bronze medal in the 4x100 metres relay with his team mates Gilles Quénéhervé, Daniel Sangouma and Max Morinière.
At the 1990 European Championships in Split the French team of Morinière, Sangouma, Jean-Charles Trouabal and Marie-Rose improved the world record to 37.79 seconds. The record stood less than one year, as the United States team ran in 37.67 seconds at the Weltklasse Zurich meet.[1]
Marie-Rose once held the world indoor record in the 200 metres, with 20.36 seconds from 1987. The current record holder is Frankie Fredericks with 19.92 seconds, achieved in 1996. 20.36 s is still the French indoor record. With 6.56 seconds Marie-Rose is a former French indoor record holder in the 60 metres.
