Bruno is a village in Butler County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 112 at the 2000 census.

Bruno is located at 41°16′60″N, 96°57′39″W (41.283317, -96.960807)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.7 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 112 people, 49 households, and 31 families residing in the village. The population density was 419.4 people per square mile (160.2/km²). There were 64 housing units at an average density of 239.7/sq mi (91.5/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.11% White, and 0.89% from two or more races.

There were 49 households out of which 22.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.1% were married couples living together, 6.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.7% were non-families. 36.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 3.03.

In the village the population was spread out with 24.1% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 21.4% from 25 to 44, 28.6% from 45 to 64, and 18.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 124.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 123.7 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $28,750, and the median income for a family was $37,083. Males had a median income of $20,972 versus $26,250 for females. The per capita income for the village was $15,384. There were 11.1% of families and 26.7% of the population living below the poverty line, including 78.9% of under eighteens and 15.0% of those over 64.
