Bruker Optics is a global scientific instrument manufacturer. The company is a part of Bruker Biosciences Corporation (Nasdaq:BRKR) (now Bruker Corporation), and specializes in vibrational spectroscopy. The Bruker Optics headquarters are in Billerica, MA - USA and Ettlingen, Germany.

- 1974 Bruker built its first Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer
- 2004 Acquired Chromex Division of Hoya, manufacturer of Dispersive Raman Microscopes, Process Raman analyzers, Imaging Spectrographs and Monochromators.
- 2006 Acquired by Bruker Biosciences Corporation (Nasdaq:BRKR)(now Bruker Corporation as of February 2008)
