Bruker Daltonics is a global scientific instrument manufacturer. The company is a part of Bruker Corporation (Nasdaq:BRKR) and specializes primarily in life sciences mass spectrometry and also instrumentation for Homeland Security and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) detection used by defense departments worldwide. The Bruker Daltonics headquarters are in Billerica, Massachusetts, USA and Bremen, Germany.


In the CBRN detection field, the company has supplied air monitoring equipment to New York and Tokyo city authorities to assist in defence against terrorist attacks.[1]
