Bruce Robison

Bruce Robison is an Austin-based country music singer-songwriter. Bruce and his brother, fellow singer-songwriter Charlie Robison (husband of Dixie Chicks member Emily Robison), grew up in Bandera, Texas and currently reside in Austin, Texas.
Bruce has written several songs which have been covered by well known singers, including: "Travelin' Soldier," (recorded in 2003 by the Dixie Chicks, reached No. 1 on the Country charts); "Angry All the Time," (recorded by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in 2001, also reached No. 1 on the country charts); and "Wrapped," (recorded in 2006 by George Strait).

In 1992 he met singer-songwriter Kelly Willis. They had a tumultuous relationship for the next few years. After several years of dating, Willis and Robison married in 1996. Willis had in vitro fertilization treatments, and gave birth to son Deral Otis in Jan 2001. Twins Abigail Esme and Benjamin James [1] were born on March 24, 2003 [2][3] [4]. On January 11, 2006 Kelly welcomed 4th child Joseph Willis Robison; he weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces was 19.75 inches long [5] [6].
