Bruce Le

This article is about Huang Kin Lung. For Bruce Lee, see Bruce Lee.

Bruce Le (real name Huang Kin Lung, A/K/A Wong Kin Lung), is a martial artist and actor who is known for the martial arts films he made in the 1970s and 80s. Most of these were cheaply-produced and were made to capitalize on the martial arts phenomenon started by Bruce Lee, whose death left a large box office void (hence the name change to "Bruce Le").

Bruce Le was a contract player for the Shaw Brothers, where he appeared in the fondly-remembered sci-fi opus Infra-Man. He didn't spend much time with the Shaws, however, and quickly went on to making Bruce Lee inspired "tribute" films ("Bruceploitation").

After the Bruceploitation craze ended, Le directed the fairly well-regarded Category III film Comfort Women
