Bruce L. Woodbury

Bruce L. Woodbury (born December 15, 1944[1] in Las Vegas, Nevada) is a politician and lawyer in Nevada, currently residing in Boulder City.[2]
Bruce graduated from Las Vegas High School, the University of Utah and Stanford School of Law.[3]
The Bruce Woodbury Beltway is named in honor of his service to the county.[4]

Woodbury's political career began when he was appointed to the Clark County Commission to fill an open seat in 1981 in District A. He was elected in 1982 to a full term and has been relected every four years since then.[3]
Woodbury has twice served as commission chairman. First from 1989 to 1990 and again from 1999 to 2000.[3]
