Bruce Haywood

Bruce Haywood, (born in Yorkshire, England), served as a professor of German language and literature, provost of Kenyon College, and president of Monmouth College in Illinois.

Raised in Allerton Bywater, Yorkshire.

Hayward served as a faculty member at Kenyon College, where he was professor of German language and literature from 1954 to 1966, then dean and provost from 1967 to 1980. Appointed the tenth president of Monmouth College, he served in that position until 1994.
