Bruce Barclay (Commissioner)

Bruce Barclay is a millionaire businessman and a former Commissioner of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.[1]

When first elected in 2006, he was credited for drastically changing the priorities of previous Republican commissioners. [2] This change was opposed by the Democratic Party. [3]

When re-elected for another four year term, he was credited for drastically changing the priorities of previous Republican commissioners. [6] He successful ended the practice of reassessments on property every 4 years despite opposition by Democratic party policians against the long standing practice.

He resigned in April 2008 following allegations of male rape.[7] During the search of the house, he was later found to have "built a hidden video system in his home and recorded as many as 500 sexual episodes with unknowing men."
