Browser OS (BOS) or Online Operating System (OOS) is a web operating system. It provides a few utilities like a word processor, calculator, pdf reader and a few games . Additional application like an integrated IDE allows each user to develop additional applications for BOS. The main idea behind BOS is to show what is possible with the new Web2.0 paradigm. It should be possible to work with BOS like with any other full-grown operating system like Windows or Linux. According to iCUBE Network Solutions a webtop "brings the convenience and comfort you know from classical desktop applications into your browser".[1]
