Browsealoud
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Browsealoud is software that enables supported websites to speak to users, helping to improve accessibility.
One notable user is the website of the British Council.
[edit] Clarification: "Browsealoud-friendly" vs. "accessible"
It is important to note that Browsealoud's solution does not take a non-accessible website and turn it into an accessible website. Rather, it offers a free reader for users to access websites that are already accessible.
Browsealoud may greatly assist many users, but the original website must already comply with the technical and legislative requirements for web accessibility.
