Brownwood High School

Brownwood High School is a public, co-educational secondary school in Brownwood, Texas (USA). It is part of the Brownwood Independent School District and hosts 9th to 12th grade. Brownwood High School's mascot is a Lion.

During the 1960s and 1970s, Brownwood was one of the most dominant football programs in Texas. Under the guidance of legendary coach Gordon Wood, the Lions made the state finals eight times (1960, '65, '67, '69, '70, '77, '80, '81), winning titles on a state-record seven occasions.
