Brownie Foreman

John Davis Foreman (August 6, 1875 - October 10, 1926) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball who played from 1895 through 1896 for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1895-96) and Cincinnati Reds (1896). Listed at 5' 8", 150 lb., Foreman batted and threw left-handed. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. His older brother, Frank Foreman, also was a major league pitcher.

In a two-season career, Foreman posted a 12-12 record with 81 strikeouts and a 4.97 ERA in 32 appearances, including 29 starts, 20 complete games, one shutout, four games finished, two saves, and 224⅓ innings of work.

Foreman died in his home of Baltimore, Maryland at age 51.
