The Taipei Metro Brown Line comprises two lines of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, the Muzha Line, and the Neihu Line. When completed, it will have a total of 24 stations serving the Nangang, Neihu, Shilin, Muzha, Daan, and Xinyi districts, stretching about 26 km long. Zhongxiao Fuxing Station borders the Muzha Line and the Neihu Line, north of the station is the Neihu Line, south of the station is the Muzha Line.

The Muzha Line is currently in revenue service. With the completion of the Neihu Line in June 2009, metro trains will travel from the Muzha Line directly onto the Neihu Line.
