Brough is a hamlet in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located 5 miles to the north of Newark on Trent, on the A46 Fosse Way. It was the site of the Roman town of Crococalana, which grew around a military fort of the 1st century. The town spread along the Fosse way for about a mile, and had ditched defences[1].
