Brotha Lynch Hung (born Kevin Mann in 1970[citation needed]) is a prominent Sacramento rapper. He is famed for his use of highly violent lyrics and is best known for his 1995 debut LP, Season of da Siccness. Lynch has released over 20 albums in his 16 year career. In these albums he has collaborated with some of the West Coast's most prominent underground rappers, establishing a name for himself and the "Garden Blocc" of Sacramento.

Lynch first began rapping in 1986 and formed the group Endangered Species with Sicx and X-Raided, both of whom are now serving time in prison. He signed with Ced Singleton's Black Market Records for his 1992 debut EP, 24 Deep, which featured stories of the struggles involved with being affiliated with a local street gang in the Garden Blocc.[1] His 1995 underground classic Season of da Siccness graphically chronicled a life of drug use and sale, promiscuity, ultraviolence, rape and several other activities including cannibalism.

Brotha Lynch Hung also appeared in the film Now Eat along with Sicx in 2000.[2] Lynch has appeared as a featured artist on over 100 tracks for artists including E-40, MC Eiht, Tech N9ne, Master P, Snoop Dogg, Yukmouth, and C-Bo.[3] He is married to fellow Madesicc artist Zigg Zagg, who was featured on the single Locc 2 Da Brain.[4]
