Bronte Barratt (born August 2, 1989) is a competitive swimmer from Australia. At the World Short Course Championships held in Shanghai in 2006, Barratt won the gold medal in women's 4x200m freestyle relay and an individual silver medal in the 400m freestyle.[1] In 2007, she broke the oldest record in swimming for Australian women when she broke Tracey Wickham's 29 year old record in the 400m freestyle. [2] Barrett will be competing in the 2008 Olympic Games over 200m and 400m freestyle.
