Bromley South railway station is a major interchange and station in Bromley town centre within the London Borough of Bromley in southeast London. It is in Travelcard Zone 5, and the station and all trains are operated by Southeastern.
It is 10.9 miles from London Victoria - the 11-mile milepost is a short distance east of the station.

The typical off-peak train service per hour is :

- 6 non-stop to London Victoria running fast
- 4 to London Victoria calling at all stations via Herne Hill
- 2 on Monday to Saturday to London Blackfriars calling at all stations via Catford
- 2 on Sunday to London Victoria calling at all stations via Catford

- 2 to Faversham via the Medway Towns
- 1 to Maidstone East
- 1 to Ashford International via Maidstone East
- 2 to Dover Priory (via Canterbury East) and Ramsgate (via Margate), splitting at Faversham and running via the Medway Towns
- 2 to Sevenoaks via Swanley
- 4 to Orpington
From December 2007, the London Victoria via Bromley South and Herne Hill, calling at all stations to Orpington becomes every 15 minutes between 9am and 5pm
During the morning peak London bound trains, and in the evening peak country bound trains, are extremely crowded through Bromley South. Due to the large number of train routes that run through the station, changes to train times are a common occurrence at weekends due to engineering works.
