Bromley Cross railway station, situated in Bromley Cross, a suburb to the north of Bolton, is served by the Northern Rail 'Ribble Valley' line 4 km (2¾ miles) north of Bolton.
The station is just south of the point where the double line merges into one. The single line continues through Entwistle station and splits again at Darwen.
Bromley Cross railway station is situated on Chapeltown Road. Parking is adjacent to the station, with overflow parking opposite and neighbouring Turton Media Arts College.
Passengers can catch trains to Bolton and Manchester from the station.

There is generally an hourly service daily northbound to Clitheroe to Blackburn and Manchester Victoria with extra trains during peak hours.
