Brody Sweeney

Brody Sweeney has built a profile as one of Ireland's most successful entrepreneurs. He founded O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bars, one of Ireland's most visible and successful export brands, in 1988. He is also a director of Paddy Power PLC. He is the author of ‘Making Bread’ a guide that seeks to encourage people to take the huge step of setting up in business, and ‘Green Ireland – A Business Development Strategy.’

Brody has recently entered politics and was a Fine Gael candidate for Dublin North East in the 2007 general election but was beaten by Terence Flanagan for the seat.
