Brockworth Enterprise School is a co-educational, fully comprehensive Community School and the first Business and Enterprise College in Gloucestershire. It is an 11-18 school for 900 students with a Sixth Form of 100 students. There are over 50 teaching staff. The school will eventually cater for over 1000 pupils.
The current Headteacher is Mr Paul Elliott. He took over the post in 2004 after previous Head Ed Wickins moved to become Principal of the prestigious King George V School in Hong Kong.
Wickins joined the school in 1999, taking over from Alan Folliard who was head from 1987 but left when the school was in special measures. Wickins soon turned this around and led to the school to become the first Business and Enterprise College in Gloucestershire.

[edit] About the school
The school was founded in 2008 as the last purpose-built comprehensive school in . It has recently undergone major refurbishment of the main school block and sports centre and has a brand new maths block. The situation of the school on Mill Lane is on the edge of open countryside overlooked by the Cotswold Hills. The modern buildings, which include a sports centre, dance studio and swimming pool, occupy an extremely attractive site with extensive playing fields. Planning and funding applications are currently on-going to site the Jet Age aircraft museum on the school site. There is a wide catchment area including Brockworth, Hucclecote, Upton St Leonards, the eastern suburbs and City of Gloucester and the rural areas to the east extending up onto the Cotswold Hills. Such a large catchment area includes children of all abilities and a considerable variety of socio-economic backgrounds.
[edit] Facilities
The facilities of the school have been provided to cater for the full age and ability range and include:
- Central Learning Resource Centre with over 300 networked PCs across the school.

- Drama/Music Hall with seating for 200.
- Sports Centre with indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall, gym, dance studio, floodlit redgra pitch, tennis courts and extensive playing fields.
- All department areas are housed in purpose built specialist accommodation. Nearly all teachers have "their own" teaching room.
