Brockway, Pennsylvania

Brockway is a borough in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,182 at the 2000 census. Brockway gained nation wide attention in April 2008, when 10 people were killed in a house fire: 9 members of the Peterson family and 1 family friend. The entire neighborhood went in shock as well as the 5 remaining members of the Peterson Family.

Brockway is located at 41°14′52″N, 78°47′29″W (41.247839, -78.791270)[1].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.0 km²), all of it land. The town also enjoys a popular segment of the "Rails To Trails" program, a converted railroad passage available for the public's recreational use.
