Broadside (TV series)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Broadside was an American sitcom that aired on ABC during the 1964-65 TV season. The series starred Dick Sargent, Sheila James (her last regular television series role), Kathleen Nolan, Joan Staley, Edward Andrews and Arnold Stang.

According to television nostalgia website TV Party, Broadside was from the creator of McHale's Navy and centered around the women of the Navy (WAVES) circa World War II, who found themselves transferred to an island in the South Pacific to run the motor pool in an otherwise all-male environment. The series ran for just a single season.
