Broadminded is a show on XM Radio Channel 155 - Take Five. It is hosted by real-life friends,Christine Eads and Molly Dedham. The hosts refer to themselves as "Broads". They discuss a wide range of topics from sex, men, entertainment, and life in general. Christine and Molly met at George Mason University in the eary 90's and have been best friends ever since. They often refer to living together in LA, doing random jobs together and even dating the same guy.

The show debuted on XM Radio in October 2005. The show was originally heard from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. evenings eastern time, but was moved to the "drive time" slot" from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time. In September of 2007, their timeslot was again moved - this time to the 12:00 - 3:00 PM (EST) slot with encore re-broadcasts at 6:00 PM (EST).

Christine is a fan of entertainment and gossip and leads the other broads daily during Broadbuzz. Christine also seems to be the driving force during Ask The Broads/As Tried on Broadminded and The Unbelivable Broads. Molly is a fan of music and you will hear a Molly's Music segment every Thursday ranging from singing to the songs of the 80s onto a Tribute to Marvin Gaye. The opening sequence to their show has recently been changed to reflect these interests. The Broads Love American Idol and Lost and you can hear their recaps weekly.

Among the more popular regular features of the show are

  1. Broad Buzz: This is an entertainment/gossip feature, with pithy comments and observations by the Broads.
  2. Unbelievable Broad: This is usually a profile on a woman who is making a difference in the world.
  3. PSYCHIC: Reverend Sherry Sherry: Sherry Sherry is a psychic who is usually heard on Monday evenings. She does a call in show for listeners to get their personal questions answered, gives readings to the Broads on their love lives, and makes celebrity predictions.
  4. John Porter: John Porter is a Fitness Trainer. He is usually heard with the broads on Wedsenday evenings. In addition, John is the fitness director at Army Navy Country Club and an adjunct professor at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
  5. Connie - "The Sports Broad": A regular guest in which the Broads discuss topics in the Sports World.
  6. Murder Monday": Lively discussions of news making murders, the odd, the unusual and the guilty!
  7. Scott Oliver "The Culture Vulture":A regular guest who takes emails and phone calls for Ask The Gay!
  8. Every Friday is Fugitive Friday with Bill Glasser from America's Most Wanted: He covers the important stories that will be featured on the show, which airs Saturdays 9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. CT on Fox. Help the Broads and AMW catch these creeps!!!
  9. "Beauty Broad" Robert (Robb) Buck: was The Broads hair dresser until he moved to Atlanta, where he is now making women and men beautiful. He is the guest educator at Graham Webb Academy's advanced program, and is Artistic Director for MODA Salon Spa in Duluth, GA.
  10. The Broads B.F.F. David Kaplan from Star Magazine: joins The Broads every Wednesday, Since joining Star magazine in August 2003, David has been Star's resident celeb-know-it-all. He has landed countless exclusive celebrity interviews -- including Paris Hilton, Ashlee Simpson, Teri Hatcher and Matthew Perry -- and he's always got the inside scoop on Hollywood's A-List.
  11. Forbes Robbins Blair is a Personal Dream Consultant and a clinical hypnotherapist: He is the author of "Instant Self-Hypnosis: How to Hypnotize Yourself with Your Eyes Open." He facilitates dream groups and teaches classes dreams, hypnosis, astral travel, western mysticism and ghosts and spirits in the Washington area.
  12. Comedian Megan Mooney: joins The Broads every Wednesday from Los Angeles (where she lives with her husband/fellow comic and baby-on-the-way) to recap Last Comic Standing.They love Megan her for her sweet, mid-western sensibility and for being absolutely hilarious. Megan has performed in the prestigious HBO US Comedy Arts Festival, as well as the Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival in Montreal. She has been seen on Comedy Central and the E! Network. In March of 2006, Megan starred in her very own comedy special entitled "Comedy Central Presents, Megan Mooney."
  13. Numerologist Lloyd Strayhorn:As a kid, LLoyd had an interest in all things weird, strange or interesting (or did it have something to do with him being an Aquarius?). Fascinated with the “other world,” the world of astrology and the related sciences held his time and attention. He is a perfect addition to The Broads www.numbersandyou.com.
  14. Joseph "Joe Dogs" Iannuzzi: Joseph "Joe Dogs" Iannuzzi is the author of "Joe Dogs: The Life and Crimes of a Mobster," "The Mafia Cookbook," and "Cooking On The Lam." He was a mobster with the Gambino crime family before teaming up with a deep-cover FBI informant and appearing as a star witness. Joe joins The Broads every Monday to give his review of The Sopranos.
