Broad Green is a small residential and retail area of the London Borough of Croydon in London. The area is part of the wider West Croydon neighbourhood. The area was centred on a triangular green space bounded by shops and houses, which was subsequently developed upon at the end of the 19th century. The main landmark of the area, the Safari Cinema, was demolished in recent years.
Most of West Croydon is in an electoral ward called "Broad Green", hence Broad Green library is some distance away from the traditional Broad Green area.
