[edit] Re: oddworld talk page

Thanks for the clarification. This person likes to italicize words for emphasis, though it comes across to me as condescending given the context. I don't think they were referring to your typo, but I responded because this person has been rather uncivil to everybody they talk to. (Guyinblack25 talk 19:10, 7 February 2008 (UTC))

[edit] Re: Magazine request

Sure thing, I'll see what I can do. Feel free to remind me again if I don't get back to you within a week. --ADeveria (talk) 14:18, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] G-Police Review

I've put the Edge review of the PlayStation version here. I'll add anything significant from the PC version to the bottom of it. - X201 (talk) 10:58, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sonic interactions and personality

Before deleting those things put it on the article's talk page, (or some sort of notification) that way I won't have to keep undoing all your edits.Fairfieldfencer (talk) 14:08, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Sega Project

Hey, Bridies. Now that I see your userpage, I see why we're often at ends with each other: you're an immediatist and an exclusionist, whereas I am an eventualist and an inclusionist. But that's not the reason I'm here. You've made a lot of discussion with The Sega Project, and while many members of the project are at odds with you a lot, I think it's a good thing to have people of different opinions and philosophies in the project. So I extend you this invitation to join the project. If you decide to join, just sign the members page and then put {{Segabox2}} on your page. If you decline, just inform me, and I'll understand. It is up to you, and anyone can always join, but I'm extending this invitation to you personally. Thanks. Redphoenix526 (Talk) 02:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

The Sega Project Invitation

Dear Bridies, we think you would make a great member of The Sega Project. Redphoenix526 (Talk) 02:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unclear Notability Assesment

Just to let you know I've added a list at Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Assessment/Notability to check off articles as they're cleaned up. If you close off an article through either cleanup, prod or AFD could you mark it on the list? Many thanks!Gazimoff (talk) 16:16, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Video game genres problem

Thanks for fixing / citing the light gun games genre in the Video game genres main article. But there's a deeper problem I was trying to fix, and I'm not sure what to do. The article has been tagged for being inconsistent with the Template:Video game genre template. The main article lists "light gun game" but doesn't list rail shooter. The template lists "rail gun shooter" but doesn't list light gun game. It would be nice if we could harmonize these two parts of wikipedia. Randomran (talk) 16:56, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

That makes a lot of sense. If the template is the problem, then why not quickly fix the template? Is it more complicated than that? Do we need to create new articles / split existing articles? I'm willing to help out and back you up, if need be. (Even though I don't know much about these genres.) Let me know. Randomran (talk) 15:14, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Would you feel comfortable doing a split? I know it would create a short article, but I think there's enough research that it will be filled up relatively quickly. Add to that, it would help resolve the inconsistency between a template and its associated article. If you did a split, I'd help out where I could. Just let me know. Randomran (talk) 17:32, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for creating the article and updating the template. I've updated the main video game genres article. The whole group of articles need a lot of work, but we'll get there if we keep plugging away. Randomran (talk) 17:42, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: unreliable

Much of the information on for the bagpipes/uillean pipes have no sources and are incorrect. How do you report them? Someone stated that Uilleann pipes came from trading from Britain. This is incorrect, there are no sources for this. How do I get permission to delete stuff that is wrong/no sources?

Ok I will try find books to back up my points. Thanks!

[edit] Thanks

Thanks for the formatting on true scotsman, I was just banging the links in there and then I was going to beg for help to turn them into proper references. Hope I'm not driving you mad by editing at cross purposes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmackaerospace (talkcontribs) 18:40, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Just so you know, 3RR doesn't count towards what you're doing. If you're reverting obvious vandalism/malicious edits, you can go on as required.-Wafulz (talk) 21:15, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] video game genre articles

Hey, I couldn't help but notice that you've been poking around on a lot of the video game genre articles. I keep making a few passes rom article to article but many of them are in need of serious work. I'm curious, what's on your radar these days? Anything you might try to deal with in the near future? I think we might accomplish more if we coordinated our efforts. Randomran (talk) 05:49, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Let me know when you start to push forward with any of those. If nothing else, I can help you dig up some references. I'm really eager to get a couple more genre articles to GA status. I agree that shoot 'em up and fighting game are both good places to start. Randomran (talk) 03:00, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please be careful of you edits

I reverted your edits on the Khmer language (see here) because those were not question marks, but in reality it was the Khmer script. If you need more assistance, please seek Help:Multilingual support (Indic) for more help. Thank you. - Io Katai (talk) 22:16, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
