[edit] Re: Croatian Navy

I guess you're right -- capitalization for particular countries' naval forces seems to be the norm. Thanks for pointing out my mistake. — xDanielx T/C\R 07:48, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ilwaco Railway -- Style guide & image thumbnails

Thanks for the tip, I just copied somebody else's settings for my first article with images. Mtsmallwood (talk) 05:00, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Long Beach, Washington and Ilwaco Railway

I moved some of the images back to Ilwaco Railway and Navigation Company (leaving the full gallery intact at Long Beach, Washington) because I think you need in the railroad discussion some images of the various quaint little tourist traps ("Ice Cream!" "Vincent's Souvenirs!") that awaited the passengers once they reached Long Beach. The ocean was very close to the tracks at that time and it must have been quite a scene on a busy summer's day. Also, the gallery included a couple images of the Breakers Hotel, which should be in that portion of the railroad article and I set up a new gallery for those two pix under that subheading. [edit] template:WAFerry

As the primary contributor to {{WAFerry}}, I wanted to point you to the comments on its talk page so that you could voice any comments or concerns prior to it being tagged as deprecated and the linked articles converted. The ferries using that template fall within the scope of WP:SHIPS, which has {{Infobox Ship Begin}} as the infobox template that it supports for a standard look/feel for all ship infoboxes. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 00:48, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] template:WSF Ferry Classes

As the primary contributor to {{WSF Ferry Classes}}, you may also want to take a look at the comments on that talk page. I've proposed two options for converting it to use the standard {{navbox}} structure. --00:48, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Photos of original motorcycle brochures

I have photos of original brochures for a number of older motorcycles. I would appreciate some input regarding using these on a number of motorcycle stubs. Should I use them… if so how should I use them? I have not seen anyone using these on specific bikes before. Thanks Ytak171 (talk) 17:36, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

You may come up against copyright issues here. How old are the brochures, and are you certain that copyright is not held by the original publishers? There may be exceptions for cover pages, as with books and movie albums, but I'm not sure. In any event it probably doesn't make sense to include more than the cover page, unless there's something of particular interest in the brochure. Brianhe (talk) 14:13, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

The brochures are MV Agusta model brochures from the late 40's thru late 70's. The company closed in the early 80's. The companies name was bought by CRC in the late 90's. I was batting around the idea....but I see your point. I have them and wanted to put them to good use. Copyright might , or might not be an issue. I'll hold off though. Thanks for your input.Ytak171 (talk) 15:29, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
