User talk:Brian Orchy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi, Brian. Welcome to the club! Sorry if that new and greatly improved article on Ian Cresswell has met with some resistance. User:Capitalistroadster is well-versed in many things Australian and his "keep" vote holds a lot of sway with me. I've voted likewise to keep the article and I suspect a lot of other users will follow suit.
Unfortunately, it's a lack of relevant Google hits that often relegate articles like yours into oblivion. I don't think that will be the case here. Getting late on my side of the planet, so I'll bid you good night and happy Halloween! :) - Lucky 6.9 06:16, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] g'day!
Welcome!
Hello Brian Orchy, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!
As with Lucky 6.9, I do hope you stick around. Seeing some of your first edits thrown to WP:AFD can be unsettling, but I assure you we can be nice from time-to-time. I gather from your interest in Australian classical music that you're an Aussie. Great! Wikipedia needs more of us! You may find something of interest (for reading, or writing) on Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board. --fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 18:43, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
