[edit] Naming conventions

Hi! I see you've been creating some articles today. I wanted to point out that Wikipedia has some standards for naming articles, and that the articles you've created should adhere to that. (Don't worry; we've fixed the ones you've made so far.) For example, if you want to create an article about Dr. John Smith, the name of the article should be John Smith, not Smith, John or Dr. John Smith. Let me know if you have any questions, and happy editing! -- Merope Talk 18:04, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikify tag

Thanks for your work. It looks like you've been adding lots of good information, which is much appreciated. Please take some time to look at Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers, the Wikipedia:Manual of Style and similar links. You can learn how to format articles so words link to other articles and similar useful tips. It is pretty easy once you learn a couple of simple things. Please don't remove the "Wikify" notice on articles that have not been put in Wikipedia format until you or someone else has taken care of that task. Hope this helps. Best wishes, -- Infrogmation 02:10, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Opera

Hi Brian, I don't know whether you're aware of WikiProjects and, in particular, the one on opera. Being a member of the project doesn't affect what you can or cannot do, but you're clearly a knowledgeable enthusiast and it would be good to have you involved in our discussions. Feel free to click the above link for the project description and have a look at out discussion page too.--Peter cohen 07:43, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Karan Armstrong‎ and removal of tags

Please do not remove tags from this article without good reason. First of all, wikipedia's guidelines for articles does not approve of articles coming from only one source regardless of the length of the article. That is a big no no. Second, wikipedia does not approve of articles without in text citations. That is another big no no. Do not remove these tags again as this particular singer is part of the focus for the opera wikiproject singers for the month of May and these tags serve as a means of alerting project members of flaws in the article that need to be fixed. For further information see Wikipedia:Cleanup resources and Wikipedia:Good articles. Thank you.Nrswanson (talk) 21:39, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
