Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Tom Papania do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bblogspot\.com' (link(s): http://modern-folklore.blogspot.com/2006/05/rocky-scarfone.html) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 20:20, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

April 2008

Please do not add unsourced information to articles, as you did with Tom Papania. Information on wikipedia must be properly sourced with reliable secondary sources, especially in regards to biographies of living people. If you are going to add material, I would suggest you properly source it, and also discuss sweeping changes on the talk page first. Thanks! Redrocket (talk) 06:48, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Adding today. I'm researching the accuracy of the links (talk) 07:48, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

WP:ANI notice

There is a discussion of your editing at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#SPA_BrianKarjala_doing_lots_of_editing_on_Tom_Papania. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 08:33, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Impersonating other users and people in real life

You are not the same person who posted to the BLP notice board, like you claimed. I don't know if you or the IP was Brian, but you are obviously lying to me. I'm going to recommend that this account be blocked until some proof of your identity can be confirmed. -- Ned Scott 04:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

The best way to do this is to follow the instructions on Wikipedia:Contact us/Article problem/Factual error (from subject), and get in contact with one of our volunteers over e-mail. Don't give out your personal information over the Wiki itself for your own protection. -- Ned Scott 04:50, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Block

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because of concerns that the chosen username may not meet our username policy.
This is often not a reflection on the user, and you are encouraged to choose a new account name which does meet our guidelines and are invited to contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. If you feel this block was made in error, you may quickly and easily appeal it - see below.

Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username. In brief, usernames should not be offensive, disruptive, promotional, related to a 'real-world' group or organization, confusing, or misleading.

If you have already made edits and wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name you may request a change in username which is quick and easy. To do so, please follow these directions:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use. The account is created upon acceptance – do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change since we can far easier allocate your new name to you, if it is not yet used. Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username.
Last, the automated software systems that prevent vandalism may have been activated, which can cause new account creation to be blocked also. If you have not acted in a deliberately inappropriate manner, please let us know if this happens, and we will deactivate the block as soon as possible. You may also appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.
