[edit] Vandal tags

Thank you for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia!

Be sure to put warning tags on the vandal's user talk page (such as {{subst:test}}, {{subst:test2}}, {{subst:test3}}, {{subst:test4}}). Add each of these tags on the vandal's talk page, in sequential order, after each instance of vandalism. Adding warnings to the talk page assists administrators in determining whether or not the user should be blocked. If the user continues to vandalize pages after you add the {{subst:test4}} tag, request administrator assistance at Request for Intervention. Again, thank you for helping to make Wikipedia better. -- Cat Whisperer 17:56, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Cat Whisperer ,I'll be more attentive to this in the future. BrianGV 18:22, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks again for helping in the fight against vandalism! A nice list of available tags/templates can be found at Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace. -- Cat Whisperer 18:34, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Also, welcome to Wikipedia! -- Cat Whisperer 18:36, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Cat Whisperer. I like your name . Meow ! BrianGV 18:50, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Maybelline.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Maybelline.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:12, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] West Moreton Anglican College page - March 2007

Why did you feel the need to delete my edits to the West Moreton Anglican College page. Everything that was stated in that article was true, and so I don't see why it was deleted...

It would be helpful if you signed any comments with your user name ( 4 tildes in a row will generate your user name with the current date), I'm not sure who wrote the above.....Seemed like vandalism to me.... My apologies, if I'm wrong. BrianGV 02:53, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unicode

Hi. I'm User talk:204.15.20.247. Sorry, I forgot to log in - not my usual computer. I really wasn't vandalizing the Unicode page, but rather it seemed to me that phrases beginning like "Some Japanese computer programmers object to Unicode" and (especially) "Some have decried Unicode as a plot against Asian cultures perpetrated by Westerners" sounded like the weasel words example on Wikipedia:Avoid_weasel_words. I didn't know how to correct them (since I have no specific knowledge myself about these supposed programmers/Asians who object to Unicode), but I figured the right thing to do is to tag it? Is it not? Or should I have included something on the Talk Page?

I won't put the tag back until I hear back from you. Yishan 03:00, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ma Rainey

Did you remove the Stage History section from the Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (August Wilson's play not the song) page? If not do you know who did? I'd like to see it go back in or at least know why its gone. ThePeg 22:28, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply, Brian. Some people are very strange, don't you think? Why would you erase the stage history and replace it with the word 'stupid' while leaving the section title up? There are some nutters out there! ThePeg 23:09, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My edits are not vandalism

If you disagree, please justify on talk page. 69.154.189.125 01:39, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

It would be a waste of my time BrianGV (Talk) 01:49, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Felt

Just to let you know, I was not labeling your changes as vandalism. I just had to go so far back to correct some early vandalism that had crept in, that it rubbed out some apparently legitimate info which your version had, which I then recovered on a second pass. Wahkeenah 13:42, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

  • I went back to what I considered to be my own last good version (which was not the most recent, i.e. it slipped by me also) and then added back the differences between yours and mine. What a hassle. Near as I can tell, the problems started with the presumably-true reference to Noah's ark and animal urine (assuming you consider Noah's ark to be a true story, which, come to think of it, I don't, but that's another topic), and one or more fetishists have since been "sprinkling" the article with similar references, much to everyone else's annoyance. >:( Wahkeenah 14:13, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Recent vandalism

Hi. I noticed you reverted some vandalism by this guy. It must be more than coincidence that this person is vandalising articles to which I recently contributed. I have my suspicions, but I'm not sure what the motivation is. If you can help monitor this situation I would appreciate it. Thanks Mariokempes 23:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

He did it again, and it's obviously aimed at me... see [1] Mariokempes 23:38, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Not 100% sure. Obviously on a mission. Mariokempes 23:44, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism by T 587

I see you have warned T 587 serval times. I think he is linked to another guy who added the same thing on the Argentina page before also. Thank you (XGustaX 00:31, 16 May 2007 (UTC))
