Hello there, welcome to my user page; feel free to leave me a message. I'm a European citizen who lives currently in Edinburgh with my cat Fran. I moved here nearly two years ago from Aberdeen where I attended university and worked as a primary teacher for 10 years. I've taught most stages in school, I'm currently working in Primary 4 which I love and have worked with children with additional needs for several years both in mainstream and special school settings; which was also excellent. I have spent most of my life living in Scotland but have also lived in Madrid and in Melbourne

I've been a member of Wikipedia since March 13th, 2006. My main interests in Wikipedia are related to education, the European Union and gay and lesbian issues. I have a personal Wikigoal of trying to keep all articles I encounter balanced and free from Americentric terminology and points of view.

My user name is Brideshead as the novel Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh is my favourite work of literature. it is the only novel I have ever read which made me jealous. I wish I had written it. --Brideshead 12:58, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
