California singer-songwriter Scott West plays keyboards and fronts the California band Sex On Sunday. West is perhaps best known for his rock version of the New Years classic "Auld Lang Syne," which he recorded with Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon. It is this arrangement that is often played in America as a song of remembrance on September 11th.
Scott West & Sex On Sunday's debut album "Sex On Sunday" was released in December of 2005 and featured Tesla's Brian Wheat, Frank Hannon and Troy Luccketa with Gabriel Nelson (Cake), Jim Morris (Mercy Me) and Mike Farrell (Th'Losing Streaks). "Sex On Sunday" used Hybrid Theory to integrate rock and latin beat music to tap into the California music market.
West founded Heartfest, which is an annual concert in California that benefits the non-profit organization "The Heart Gallery" and helps to place homeless children over the age of four and multiple sibling sets into families.
