Life long interest in the fate of substances in the environment. Current focus, for last 6 years, has been rain gardens, green roofs, and related low impact development technologies.
I contributed the transpiration appendix found in Plants for Stormwater Design, Species Selection for the Upper Midwest, Vol II: By Dan Shaw, M.L.A and Rusty Schmidt
I may post some of my raingarden simulation model results here after I graduate. Wish I could include crop coefficient curves for all Minnesota's native plants here but determining them is not so simple. I'm still digesting other people's research.
Wikipedia is not considered the most prestigious peer reviewed journal, but its accessibility makes it ideal for communicating the types of technology I hope to help develop. Wikipedia readily connects young minds to once obscure information and avoids the struggle I experienced trying to learn about such topics.
Hopefully, I find an employer who is fine with me sharing many professional findings here.
Now how do I add images here?
