[edit] Tara

The Bronze Tara from Sri Lanka is mentioned in the text, but no photo is shown, nor is it wikilinked to a page of its (her?) own. I can't find any pages or photos in Wikipedia or Commons, so I uploaded and released my photo of it to commons. I've added the commons template to this article, so readers can find it, as well as many other photos already in the category. Feel free to find and upload a better photo, this one was only taken with my mobile phone.

I'm surprised there isn't any more information about the statue. I remember seeing a documentary solely about this statue on the BBC once, though I could be mistaken. Surely it is notable enough for a page of its own? It seemed to have a quite interesting history. Maybe if an expert creates a page, or finds an existing one, it can be wikilinked here and the photo put there? Gidi70 15:36, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Copyedit

Copyedited to remove copyedit template. The page seems to have been structured around previous set of British Musuem web pages which have since been reworked. Note that the Islamic section should be moved to the Department of the Middle East following a re-organisation. 84.92.241.186 (talk) 16:16, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
