The French Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (FFME) organize and promote the following disciplines: - Climbing - Canyoning - Ski mountaineering (or ski touring) - Snow Racket The FFME also develops the additional disciplines such as the Alpinism and forwardings (or it to play a historical role with the conquest of Annapurna, first 8000 and of several great tops in the world), or the excursion in mountain. More than 1100 clubs distributed on the French territory gather nearly 60 000 bachelors. Regional and departmental Committees relay the action of the federation at the local level. In addition to the training of the teams of France (Climbing, Ski of mountain, Equips national young people mountaineers), the FFME plays a driving role in the organization of the championships and the competitions, in the formation of voluntary of the clubs (initiating) and of official of the competitions. The FFME defends the free access to the sites of practice in dialogue with its institutional interlocutors (other local federations, partners, partiquants...).
